Spider Eye

Jessica Szawara

The blue jumping spider is characterized by its blue chelicerae (fangs). They also have forward facing eyes that allow them to jump and capture prey and they range 4-18mm in length with an average of 11mm. They live in North America, so keep and "eye" out for them.
