Prothonotary Warbler

These birds live in forested wetlands and mangroves. The rapid decline of these habitats, due to urbanization, put the species on the endangered list. In Canada, the prothonotary warbler is only known to nest in southwestern Ontario, primarily on the north shore of Lake Erie. Over half of their population is found in Rondeau Provincial Park.
